Over at Luxury Cruise Bible, Andrea Rotondo has been writing about her adventures on Safari Spirit. Part of American Safari Cruises, the yacht-sized ship offers daily excursions amidst Alaska’s grand scenery combined with close encounters of the animal kind. The cruise mixes nature watching, hiking, fishing and kayaking with fine dining and excellent accommodations. With only twelve passengers, the ship offers an intimate way for adventurous baby boomers to experience Alaska. I’ve definitely added this cruise to my “want-to-do” list.

I cruised with American Safari Cruises in the summer of 2008 on their newest yacht, the 36 passenger Safari Explorer.
What a beautiful yacht!
