“Must see lists.” Some people love them, others hate the limits they seem to impose.  But, if travel lists start your wanderlust juices flowing, check out the 27 new sites that UNESCO has added to their list of World Heritage sites.  With a grand total of 878 sites in 145 countries, these recommendations could keep my itchy travel feet moving for a lifetime.

What’s that? You say you’re not a world traveler? Look at the list of locations in the United States? How many have you visited? Out of twenty, I’ve been to nine of them.

Personally, I love lists. Now, excuse me while I get out the atlas and start planning.

Do travel lists influence your journeys? Post a comment. Let’s talk about it.

  • I just LOVE lists too! "I bought the 1000 Places to See Before You Die" book. But I didn't think that some of the places the author chose should have made the list. I will definitely look at the list of UNESCO World Heritage sites.
