My Itchy Travel Feet | The Baby Boomer's Guide To Travel

Product Review: The Seattle TourSaver

by on 2009/05/05

STS-09-Cover-450p-1This pocket-sized coupon book offers 136 coupons for entertainment bargains in Seattle. Any way you calculate the savings, baby boomer travelers are getting a bargain for $79.95. Flipping through the pages, I noticed two-for-ones to the Seattle Aquarium, Seattle Lake Cruises with Argosy Cruises or a Seattle Raft and Kayak Tour. The Seattle TourSaver includes lodging coupons at Quality Inn and Suites next to the Space Needle, Homewood Suites in downtown Seattle and more. Plus, coupon savings extend to the San Juan Islands and Victoria.

I’m not the only one impressed with this coupon book. Seattle Magazine thinks so too. At Tripso, Anita Potter-Durham includes The Seattle TourSaver in her “Cruise-onomics: 12 money-saving tips,” for vacationers cruising into Seattle.

Would you like to win a copy of The Seattle TourSaver, 2009 edition? To celebrate My Itchy Travel Feet’s first birthday, the publishers have kindly given me a copy to give away.

So now it’s your turn. Post a comment on why you would like to win The Seattle TourSaver coupon book. Please include your email for contact purposes. You might be the lucky one saving hundreds of dollars on a visit to Seattle. Contest ends on Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at 11:00 p.m. Arizona Mountain Standard Time. Winner will be announced on Wednesday, May 13, 2009. Please see general contest rules.

UPDATE: May 13, 2009. This contest has expired. As soon as the winner acknowledges receipt of my email, I’ll make the announcement.

I’ll be heading to Seattle from the 20th to the 24th of May. I love Seattle, it’s a wonderful place. It would be even more wonderful to win such a wonderful prize and also save some money with the coupons.

thank you so much for a wonderful contest… :)

I know I will be visiting Seattle and I would like to know more about the city before I get there.

I’d love to win this book because I am a current Seattle resident who has lived here for the past 2 years. I work at a non-profit, and the high price of living in the city unfortunately makes it difficult to actually get out and experience the benefits of living in the city! It’s a vicious cycle.

I’d love to win this so I could afford to share some of these wonders of Seattle with my kids – we live here, but a lot of the attractions are pricey!

We are retired and visit Seattle several times a year to see our grandchildren. I like coupon books because not only can you save money but you get ideas about places to go that you hadn’t thought of.

because of medical problems we are in Seattle quite often. It would be great to have some things to do, other than Dr visits.

I’d be glad to use this great book in 45 days when I travel to Seattle. (but who’s counting?) It will come in very handy. Thanks for the contest.

I’d love to win this coupon book! We live on the dry side of the mountains, but the grandparents live near Seattle and it’s only a 3 hour drive for us. It would be great to have new things to do next time we visit with the kids!

I am visiting Seattle next month for the first time ever for a wedding and could really use this. Whatever I do not use, I can leave with a friend that lives there! Perfect!
