Baby boomers, you’re going to appreciate some of the changes taking place at Waianuhea, one of my favorite luxury bed and breakfasts on the Big Island.
First, Manager and Chef, Randy Goff, is now serving 3 and 4-course dinners ($48 and $58 per person plus tax and gratuity). Randy says that the menu will be created using locally and seasonally available products based on your dietary preferences. That’s right all you baby boomer foodies, give Randy 48 hours notice and you could be enjoying a main course of Mahi topped with a ponzu Kona dijon sauce served over caramelized maui onion mashed yukon gold potatoes and coconut milk sweet potatoes. Yum! Complementary appetizers and wine are still available for guests who prefer eating on the lighter side.
Second, if you stay at Waianuhea during September, October or November, book 3 nights and receive the 4th night free. Now that’s a deal.
Be sure to post a comment if you take advantage of the special or splurge for dinner. I’ll live vicariously through you.
