Saturday’s scene: Celebrating 100 Years

by on 2010/05/15

montana-glacier-national-parkAlan captured this moody scene in Glacier National Park while on a photo workshop with Marc Adamus. It’s our tribute to Glacier’s 100th year in the national park system. Happy Birthday to this magnificent park in Montana.

Awesome photo! And Galcier National Park looks gorgeous!
Having a photography workshop is one of my dreams…
You lucky lady! :-)

One of the things I love about travel is where my imagination takes me. I see a volcano erupting in the background and a ghostly affect on the creek. Gorgeous photo!

We've been lucky indeed to find photo workshops that are fun, informative and economical. I hope you'll find one that works for you one day.

Glacier in September? Lucky you. I hope the weather holds out. We had sun on our first trip but Alan's photo workshop was a rainy one. Here's our favorite off-the-beaten-path activity at Glacier (actually right outside the park boundary):

You would not believe the scramble up a rocky incline that Alan had to negotiate to take this photo.

Wow – stunning Alan! Did you use a purple filter? The sky is unreal!
