I took this photo while on a small ship adventure cruise with American Safari Cruises. On a sunny afternoon in southeast Alaska, Alan and I joined a group of fellow cruisers to hike Three Lakes Loop Trail. Our journey took us through the rainforest before climbing up into areas of prairie and muskeg bogs. On this September day, the sun seems to be shining its light on fall in Alaska. Of course I didn’t intentionally photograph the light beams. It was a pleasant surprise when this boomer photographer discovered them on her camera.
