Congratulations to Dan Rodriguez from Connecticut, the winner of our prize in the 2013 Passports with Purpose Fundraiser! Daniel will be able to spend a fabulous two night stay in Pan Pacific Hotel’s incredible Space Needle Suite thanks to his charitable donation to this year’s fundraiser recipient, BuildOn. The prize generously donated by the Seattle hotel is valued at $1,480.00.
Of course, the real winners in this event are the many students in the Sikasso region of southern Mali, Africa who will be able to attend the two new schools and two new literary programs built by the Mali-based organization. This year’s fundraiser raised over 84,000 dollars for buildOn.org thanks to all of the wonderful donors who participated this year. And let’s not forget about the wonderful blogging community, who comes together every year to support the annual Passports with Purpose fundraiser!
And a big THANK YOU goes to Pan Pacific Hotels for partnering with My Itchy Travel Feet to provide a prize for Passports With Purpose this year!
