News for the Week

Discover golden wildflowers in Valley of the Gods on an off-the-beaten-path fall road trip in Utah.

Wildflowers complete the scene on an off-the-beaten-path fall trip to Valley of the Gods.

From Donna:

In our last News for the Week, I tantalized you with links to the beautiful gardens at Magnolia Gardens near Charleston, S.C. Seeing as how it’s still rainy and cold in Montana, spring is very much on my mind. And so I don’t leave out my western boomer travel friends, check out the 2017 wildflower bloom predictions for California. With all the rain this winter, desert wildflower destinations like Anza-Borrego Desert State Park and Joshua Tree National Park are going to be bursting with color. And then there’s Arizona and Texas. Desert USA shows you where to go.

If you go: Don’t forget to share your spring flowering photos with us at the My Itchy Travel Feet page on Facebook. I need a dose of spring!

From Nicole:

Nicole has the week off. But she’ll return next week with plenty of travel tips and information.
