My Itchy Travel Feet | The Baby Boomer's Guide To Travel

Donna L. Hull

donna-hull-hidden-meadow-ranchThe travel bug is like an itch you can’t quite scratch. I call it itchy feet.

Hi, I’m Donna Hull, a freelance writer specializing in travel and human interest content for print publications and the web. Here at My Itchy Travel Feet, I write about active travel for baby boomers. And, I should know because I am one.

From a jeep adventure in Canyon de Chelly to luxury cruising above the Arctic Circle, I write content that captures the essence of place combined with the thrill of discovery. You can read my travel articles at publications like AZ3Sixty Magazine, Lovin Life After 50, Fifty Plus, Live Life Travel, Oro Valley Marana Magazine plus many others.

Online, you’ll find my articles at Uptake.com, iExplore, Living Better at 50+ and Affordable Tours. I’m also the boomer travel expert at REAL powered by Humana. My Itchy Travel Feet content is also syndicated at AZ Voices Network (Arizona Republic Newspaper online site).

I’m a member of Travel Insights 100, an online panel of travel thought leaders from around the world. And at Boomer Authority, I’m one of the founding members of the 46-64 Boomer Initiative.

Besides travel, I’m inspired by the people I meet. You’ll find my human interest articles in Her Sports + Fitness Magazine, Oro Valley/Marana Magazine, Loving Life After 50 and Desert Dog News.

Finally, what does love have to do with a piano? If you read my essay, Piano Love, on page 226 of Chicken Soup for the Soul, Love Stories, you’ll find out.

Interested in assigning an article or purchasing reprints? All you have to do is contact me. I’m also available for media appearances involving active travel for baby boomers. Want to connect online? I’m at the following social networking sites:

* Twitter: @DonnaLHull
* LinkedIn: Donna Hull
* Facebook: Donna Leftwich Hull

But, My Itchy Travel Feet is about baby boomer travel. Where to go, what to do, and how to do it. So, ask a question. I’ll find the answer. Or, post a comment to share your baby boomer travel advice.

I want to go, see and do it all.

How about you?

The Lodge at Sedona sounds wonderful. It’s about time for a trip to
Arizona’s red rocks.

Hi Donna, Just came across your site today for the first time. Yay! I love the ability to travel at this time in my life, just posted today about long, long, overseas flights. Timely for me as I’m leaving for Santiago, Chile tomorrow. I’m adding My Itchy Travel Feet to my favorites – appreciate your enthusiasm and tips for those of us with itchy feet and souls to see the world we inhabit.
