Editorial
My Itchy Travel Feet is written from the personal perspective of Donna L. Hull and illustrated by the photography of Alan Hull, with the intent of providing travel information that will inspire baby boomers to get up off the couch and go. Most of the adventures, lodging reviews or dining experiences published at My Itchy Travel Feet are based upon Donna and Alan’s own travels, which they have paid for themselves. Yes, they are qualified baby boomers; however that’s all they’re saying about the age topic.
As a professional writer, Donna accepts press or familiarization trips sponsored by Convention and Visitors Bureaus or public relations firms representing clients in the travel industry. Any material published from such a trip is clearly marked at the end of the post. Donna approaches the subject with an independent mind and an honest opinion. Don’t expect any bashing though, that’s not her style.
Donna also reviews travel-related products for My Itchy Travel Feet. Once again, if a product has been provided at no cost for her to try, it will clearly be stated at the end of the review post. If Donna demos a product that she feels is not useful to her baby boomer audience or that she cannot endorse, she’ll say so, whether the product has been provided for free or not.
At this time, My Itchy Travel Feet does not offer sponsored posts or paid text links within posts. If that’s your interest, please consider an advertising spot on the sidebar.
Donna and Alan cannot be held responsible for the quality of your travel experience. Although they attempt to portray excursions, accommodations, cruises or restaurants as they see it, your experience might be different. Please feel free to report back through the comments section. Good or bad—they want to know.
