Segovia aqueduct at Christmas time

If you’re visiting Spain over the holidays, the aqueduct in Segovia is all decked out.

From Donna:

Change. It’s inevitable, a sign we’re alive, and so hard for boomers to accept as we age. But change is good for us!

Alan and I will be experiencing change, soon, as we sail for the first time with Crystal Cruises. I’ll tell you more about it next week. In the meantime, be sure that you’ve subscribed to the My Itchy Travel Feet page on Facebook and follow me on my Instagram, Twitter and FB profile accounts for photos and short posts about the trip.

Speaking of change, in October 2018, I decided to return to my natural hair color. In other words, I’m going gray. But rather than abruptly stop coloring my hair, with a resulting skunk-like look, my hair stylist has been adding highlights and lowlights.

I’ll be honest with you. In some ways, this change is hard. But in other ways, it’s exhilarating to finally embrace my age and that gray hair that comes along with it.

From Nicole:

Happy New Year everyone! I had a wonderful holiday season. How about you? I think anyone who has spent time in Europe around the holidays knows how magical this time of year can be — and long! Between Christmas Eve dinner (a marathon of gluttony) and the Three Kings day (another food-devouring family adventure), it’s a long one! Spending the holidays here really can’t be beat!
