Do you ever take time off to explore in your own neighborhood? That’s what Alan and I did on Wednesday. I was feeling burned out—with writing, social media and managing the business aspects at My Itchy Travel Feet, it’s easy to work ten hour days and not even realize it. So we hopped in the Jeep, explored a Montana dirt road that had been calling my name and ended up discovering a tasty new restaurant in Stevensville. If you’re driving through town, stop at Flavorful for an artisan burrito. Awesome!
We plan to do more dirt road exploring on Saturday. So pardon the lack of new articles this week. But stay tuned, rest and relaxation gets my creative juices flowing!

Happy November everyone! This month, we’re discussing winter escapes. There are countless options for travel in November, December and beyond, but if you really want to make the holidays special this year, why not take a christmas cruise? A few years ago, Alan and Donna had a fabulous time on a Rhine River Christmas Market Cruise from Amsterdam to Basel. They also sailed through the Panama Canal on a holiday cruise, which looks interesting as well. If you’re planning a cruise any time soon, during the holidays or otherwise, take a look at some of our helpful planning tips on our Luxury Cruise Travel Planning Resources as well as our South Pacific Cruise Resources.
