News for the Week

Hiking on Big Creek Trail near Stevensville, Montana.

We didn’t go too far on Big Creek Trail. We forgot the bear spray!

Alan and I have made a pact this summer to enjoy more of the outdoor activities available to us in Montana’s Bitterroot Valley. True to our word, we took an early morning hike this week on Big Creek Trail. Thirty minutes in (somebody forgot the bear spray) and thirty minutes out, we walked a trail that was slightly rolling and within sight of Big Creek, which roared with snowmelt. What a nature fix for the day. Stopping at Stevi Café for breakfast was our reward.
