News for the Week

A beautiful view from the Sapphire Mountains in the Bitterroot National Forest.

From Donna:

Thursday, Alan and I traded hiking for some 4WD exploring in the Sapphire Mountains of the Bitterroot National Forest. We drove slowly with the windows rolled down to the sounds of tires crunching, birds calling and insects humming. Every so often, we stopped to get out of the car and stretch our legs. It was a lovely, relaxing, stress-relieving kind of day. We wish the same for your weekend.

More Travel News for Boomers

Our guest writers are having some fun adventures this summer. Kay Doughty, who wrote a wonderful article on traveling to Cuba for us, is sharing about her Danube Cruise in Austria’s Wachau Valley over at Blonde Brunette Travel.

And Vera Marie Badertscher, A Traveler’s Library, is practically glowing from her visit to Chattanooga. We remember the lovely article that she wrote for My Itchy Travel Feet about Sailing Bras D’or Lake in Nova Scotia.
