Earlier this week, Alan and I took a short road trip to the Montana/Idaho border. We had planned to explore several scenic drives in northwestern Montana, including the Yaak Loop. Unfortunately the weather turned rainy so our adventure ended before it started. But we did discover the cutest lodging in Bonners Ferry, Idaho. So if you’re planning a trip to the panhandle of Idaho and beyond into Canada, we highly recommend the Bonners Ferry Log Inn Motel.

That’s all for this week. But keep watching our Facebook page and Instagram account to read about our next adventure. We’re taking the week off to explore the North Fork area on the western edge of Glacier National Park and will be posting photos as satellite internet allows. This is totally off-the-grid living, folks; and you know that I’m a travel princess so this should be an interesting trip. With the recent rain and snow that Glacier National Park experienced, I see a muddy ATV ride in my future. And keep your fingers crossed that the Going to the Sun Road opens.
