Hiking advice for the baby boomer

Does this photo inspire you to plan a hiking trip? Start with our Boomer Hiker’s Travel Planning Guide.

From Donna:

We’re experiencing extra hot weather here in Montana. From looking at the weather map, it seems that much of the U.S. is broiling. If you’re out recreating, don’t forget to drink plenty of water. One of the unfortunate results of aging is that we can become dehydrated more quickly. Starting out early in the day is another way to beat the heat. Have fun, but be safe!
