News for the Week

From Donna: Nicole, My Itchy Travel Feet Assistant Editor, is on vacation until the end of August, lucky girl, so it’s just me clueing you in on our News for the Week.

Visit Ouray, Colorado

Ouray is a fun off-the-beaten-path adventure in Colorado and a beautiful fall road trip.

Alan and I are about to pack up and head back to Montana after ten days at the Oregon coast. It’s been a relief to escape smoky skies in lieu of walks on the beach, seafood dinners and watching whales from the condo window as we worked. The new mobile-friendly website design is coming together. I’m excited about finally showing it to you. We’ve scheduled October 5 as the big reveal date plus a week-long celebration. Don’t miss it!

This Week’s Articles

Have you dreamed of a trip to St. Lucia? This week, My Itchy Travel Feet guest writer, Brette Sember, shows us how to have fun with mud, chocolate and sand on an active afternoon in St. Lucia.

And I share a favorite off-the-beaten-path adventure at Mackay Bar Ranch in Idaho’s Frank Church-River of No Return Wilderness.

It’s never too soon to begin planning next summer’s trip to Montana. Check out our off-the-beaten-path Montana travel ideas.
