On a photo workshop with Exposure36 Photography, we weren’t the only ones recording the scene in the Park Avenue section of Arches National Park. As photographers practiced sunrise shots, I discovered an artist who graciously allowed me to photograph over his shoulder. He’s doing a pretty good job, don’t you think?

Just seen this on Google+ and loved the photo. As you said, gracious of him to allow you to take it. A painting of a scene within the photo of the scene. Lovely!

Thanks for stopping by. That photo is one of my favorites. I practically jumped for joy when I came across the two (there two of them) plein air painters. I knew it would make for unique photographs and an interesting story.
