Saturday’s scene: In the Forbidden City

I caught the late afternoon sun glinting off the golden adornments of buildings in The Forbidden City at the end of a day touring Beijing, China. Alan and I were on a free overnight cruise excursion provided by Regent Seven Seas Mariner as we sailed on a long cruise (52 days) from Vancouver to Singapore.
