Alan and I were too busy resting and relaxing to care much about dining out during our Kiawah Island vacation. Our condo’s kitchen came fully equipped, but, this baby boomer traveler had no intention of cooking on her vacation. We found the answer to our dining dilemma at Newton Farms located in Freshfields Village just outside Kiawah’s gated entrance. The upscale grocery store offers numerous choices for an already prepared gourmet meal. We dined on lasagna, crab cakes, shrimp salad, grilled vegetables and salads from the salad bar. If you go, try the coconut cake. Delicious!
