Saturday’s scene: Medieval Skyline

Medieval skyline in Citta Alta, Bergamo, Italy

Boomer travelers to Bergamo, Italy, will discover a Medieval skyline filled with clock towers and rotundas. I took this photo from La Rocca, the fortress that overlooks the old city, or Città Alta, during our Northern Italian road trip with Claudio Fontana of A La Carte Italy Tours. Unfortunately, we didn’t climb any of the towers during our visit. Next time, we’ll navigate the steps of Torre Civica (Civic Tower) and the tower at La Rocca.
