I’m a lucky baby boomer. So far, I don’t need glasses for distance. However, when I turned 40, my close-up vision started to deteriorate. Now I need lenses for any type of close-up reading. You might have seen a boomer like me sitting in a parking lot checking cell phone messages. My sunglasses are propped below my nose while I browse emails wearing my reading glasses. Or, if I’m really in a hurry, I plop the reading lenses on top of the sunglasses. No, there is no photo of that, it’s not a pretty site.
