When Alan and I became frequent boomer travelers, I gave up on perfume. It wasn’t something that I could easily pack in checked luggage for a luxury cruise or a duffel bag bouncing in the backseat of our Jeep on the Alpine Loop. And after 911, forget about tucking a traveler-sized bottle of my favorite scent in a carry-on. But I’ve found a solution.
Travalo to the rescue
This easy to fill atomizer uses an internal pumping system that quickly transfers perfume from a full-sized bottle to a sleek, TSA approved container. Since Travalo weighs 0.5 oz and is only 3 inches long, I know it will fit in that all important plastic bag that travels through security. And environmentally aware boomers will appreciate that Travalo is 98% recyclable.
Choose from 3 styles, which can be purchased from the Travalo site:
- Travalo Pure – 5ml – plastic container holding 65 sprays for $9.99
- Travalo classic – 4 ml – aluminum container holding 50 sprays for $15.99
- Travalo Excel – 5ml – aluminum container holding 65 sprays for $19.99
When I showed Alan my new find, he immediately wanted to confiscate it for his after shave. I told him that using my pink Travalo wouldn’t be a manly sight. Fortunately for Alan, it also comes in black or silver. A much better choice for him, don’t you agree?
Disclosure: Travalo provided a sample product for my review.
