I can't mislead you. This photo was taken when I learned to cross-country ski.

Baby boomer skiers, are you interested in a skiing course developed with you in mind? Meet Bumps for Boomers. The mogul and powder skiing program, located in Aspen, Colorado, provides the skills that will take you to the next level.

Who says you need to stick to the intermediate slopes? Former Apple executive, Joe Nevin, has developed techniques to reduce knee stress and fatigue. Using mini-skis (approximately 3 feet long), boomers gain better balance as well as learn how to maintain speed control.

And, you don’t have to visit Aspen to improve your baby boomer skiing knowledge. Check out their website for weekly skiing tips. The free ski fitness exercise videos should help you prepare for an injury-free skiing season.

Baby boomers, are you still skiing? Post a comment to share your tips for a successful experience. I’m a novice who doesn’t want to break any bones.

I'm not a Boomer (born too late, though not by much), but oy my knees ache. Haven't skied in years, thanks to these wretched joints. Maybe I should check this out…
