Too funny…what a great way to celebrate a birthday, though!
What fun, I suppose this is the equivalent of our kids dressing up as knights in shining armour
What a gorgeous photo! Who would think that such elaborate birthday garb would be worn by such a young child?

He was so cute. You should have seen him prancing up and down the wall.

His entire family was there. I'm assuming this is a typical way that Chinese children like to celebrate their birthday but I've not researched it.

What an ornate outfit. I get the impression that Chinese families treasure their child's yearly milestones more than most others. I wonder?

Sherry, I don't know the boy's age but I would guess 8 or 9.
I was just on the Great Wall last month but I wasn't lucky enough to snap a picture of such a cute little guy.
