Baby boomer photographers will find plenty of photo opps on InnerSea Discoveries cruise excursions. Alan captured this shot as our skiff motored around LeConte Bay near Petersburg, Alaska. When our guide turned the motor off, the sound of icebergs sizzling and the drip of glacial melt filled the Alaskan quiet. Have you floated withe the icebergs? Post a comment to share your experience.

Love the blue light shining beneath it – as if it’s lit by a spotlight!

You should have seen it in person. It was even better.

Remind you of any Star Trek or Twilight Zone episodes? Then you’d be
talking Alan’s language :-) .

Looks like Liz Taylor’s diamond to me! Simply gorgeous. Love the way you captured the light, Alan.

Beautiful! I’ve never been on a cruise around ice bergs and glaciers, but it seems like a wonderful experience.

Sofia, visiting Alaska in this type of intimate cruise setting,
reinforces our love of nature. Hope you try it one day.
