Active baby boomer travelers will discover vine-covered buildings decorated with ornamental wrought iron on the hilly walk through Èze, France. Alan and I visited as part of a cruise excursion when the Seabourn Sojourn stopped in Monte Carlo. Yes, this lovely town on the Côte d’Azur was a bit touristy, but oh so charming. And the photo opps were plentiful. Have you been to Èze? Post a comment to share your experience with us.

I would be hard to find anywhere more picturesque I think! It’s somewhere I very much want to go back to, even though I know it will be busier. When I went it was a February, and very cold, so at least it was fairly quiet….and fascinating! Almost like its own little world, isn’t it, and definitely one of those places where you feel that you are stepping back in time. Did you find the church and graveyard? We spent ages reading the inscriptions, and there was such a strange atmosphere there.

Islandmomma, we didn’t find the church and graveyard, which sounds
fascinating. I’d love to go back, enjoy a French meal and perhaps stay
in one of the hotels.
Nice photo! It looks like a fairytale house, lovely.
