Fall color in Grand Teton National Park

A fall leaf peeping trip usually means a drive somewhere along the U.S. East Coast to see a brilliant landscape colored red, purple and gold. But don’t forget the mountains of the West when making your boomer road trip plans. On a fall visit to Grand Teton National Park, Alan and I discovered a vibrant fall scene. The colorful leaves of cottonwood and aspen trees stood out against the background of gray granite peaks that were already streaked with a bit of snow. Are you planning a fall adventure?
