The Best Spain Travel Apps

I can wholeheartedly admit to being biased in favor of my adopted country, but, Spain is a great travel destination for any type of traveler, any time of year. However, those in the know love to see Spain in all of its glory in springtime.

Although most of Spain sees a short, mild winter with full days of sunshine, when spring hits, you’d think the whole country had just been awaken from a long, frost-covered hibernation period. Once the days get longer and the sun is stronger, there is a noticeable energy that pulsates throughout the Iberian Peninsula.

Spain really is a year-round travel destination, but if you can swing it, try to come around late March, April and May. That’s when local festivals spring up, easter week brings beautiful processions around the country, and well, sorry for the cliché, but the country just blossoms.

If you’re planning a Spain trip, make sure to take a look at our Spain Travel Planner or read our Spain Destination Guide filled with first-person travel articles.

No matter your itinerary, staying organized and up-to-date is vital to a successful boomer travel adventure. So download the Spain Travel apps that we recommend to make your trip to the Iberian Peninsula the best it can be.
