During week 3 of our Atlantic crossing aboard Silver Spirit, we departed Funchal and headed across the ocean to Bermuda and eventually Ft. Lauderdale. Crossing the Atlantic Week 3 is all about the luxury of six days at sea.
With beautiful weather for most of the crossing, we opted for breakfast on the back deck at La Terrazza. Although it was tempting to have a mimosa every morning at breakfast, we limited ourselves to a Sunday treat. And, yes, we ordered eggs benedict, too.
Storm clouds made for a moody arrival at St. George’s, Bermuda. But the clouds burned off, giving us a sunny day for the chance to stretch our legs, touch the ground and enjoy a self-guided walk in the area.

The skies provided a dramatic sunset at the Bermuda sail-away party. Most of our fellow guests were out on deck enjoying the scenery accompanied by live music and the clinking of champagne glasses.
Relaxing by the pool is one of our favorite ways to spend a sea day. And the wifi signal reached the pool area, which meant that I could keep right on working, when I wasn’t walking on the jogging track or reading a book.
