  1. It looks like my husband will be doing a sabbatical at the University of Hawaii Medical Center Cancer Center in Honolulu on Oahu from January through March in 2014. I will be a happy trailing spouse—one less Philadelphia winter, yay! If this opportunity actually comes off, I would hope that we will have the chance to do some travel to the other islands. In February, we visited Kauai for the first time on a cruise. One day was clearly not enough time to see all that beautiful island has to offer. So, I would love to return—with a specialized guide!

  2. My favorite Hawaiian island is Hawaii because of its diveristy and beauty. Such contrasts in nature in such a small area!
