ketchikan-snorkeling-excursion-alaska

For all of our baby boomer readers who’ve wondered, “Where is Alan?” He’s back! After several months of settling into his Montana office (and covering for me so that I could attend to blogging and writing duties during our move) Alan is ready to get back to work at My Itchy Travel Feet. Today, he looked through his photo collection to find this unexpected scene when we went snorkeling in Alaska.

Are you planning a cruise? Use our Luxury Cruise Travel Planning Guide to begin your research.

When our American Safari Cruise ship docked in Ketchikan, we took a ride out to Mountain Point for an introduction to cold water adventure with Snorkel Alaska. Although we didn’t have time to try the full experience, Alan did have a chance to catch some neat underwater photos. Who knew the starfish were so colorful in cold waters?
