North Pacific sunset

Boomer cruisers, when you picture a sunset photo taken from the deck of your favorite cruise ship, does sailing the Caribbean or South Pacific come to mind? Think again. Alan took this photo from our stateroom balcony as we cruised across the North Pacific on Regent Seven Seas Mariner on a cold November day. In fact, some of our favorite sunset photos were taken in cold climates — like this soft, pink sunset glow at Hidden Meadow Ranch on a January afternoon walk in the Arizona snow or the blazing Alaskan sunset Alan captured in Frederick Sound.
