As Alan and I make new travel memories in South Africa, here are a few Western U.S. adventures to consider.

At My Itchy Travel Feet, I like to introduce baby boomer travelers to adventures that they might not know about. So far, I’ve told you how to participate on an archaeological dig in Arizona. You’ve also discovered an off-the-beaten path location near Glacier National Park where the baked goods are mouth-watering. And, I’ve introduced you to a four-wheel-drive adventure in Canyon de Chelly as well as explained what a jeep jamboree is all about.

Baby boomer traveler, what’s your favorite Western U.S. adventure? Post a comment. I just might add it to my “to do” list.
